Description

The Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN Supervisor) organizes and directs work on their assigned shift as follows:

• Oversees 20-25 RN, LPN, CNA staff in providing skilled nursing services for residents and ensures quality standards are met.
• Provides leadership and guidance to nursing and other staff in the building.
• Assumes oversight for the building on their staff.
• Ensures compliance with policy/procedures and regulatory standards.
• Ensures effective communication with residents, family members, agencies, physicians, and referral sources.
• Works closely with other Departments, especially Respiratory Department.

Position Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current NJ RN licensure.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, specialty certification preferred.
• Minimum three years nursing experience.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Current/Active CPR certification (only AHA or ARC are accepted; certification must include cognitive and skills training).
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Prior supervisory/management experience preferred.

Hours

Full-time, 3 days a week position (12 hour shifts) 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (1 in 3 weekends – Saturday/Sunday).

Salary Details

Base rate of $47.93–$53.47 per hour*, plus 15% shift differential for time worked between 7 PM–7 AM.

*Hourly rate will be determined by years of experience.

Sign-on Bonus

$3,000. The bonus will be dispersed in payments: 30 days, 90 days and 6 months after hire.
