Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA license in New Jersey.
• CPR certification must include cognitive and skills training from AHA or ARC.
• Preferred experience of at least one year in Long-Term Care.

Responsibilities

• Responding to requests from patients and families promptly.
• Housekeeping duties including upkeep of patient rooms.

Schedule: Full-Time, 36 hours/week, 3 x 12 hour shifts

Compensation: $22.27/hour; Night shift eligible for $1.00 shift differential, $1,500 NEW HIRE SIGN-ON BONUS

We provide a nurturing and home-like atmosphere filled with attentive and dedicated staff. All staff work collaboratively to support residents with significant medical complexities and potential cognitive impairments. Under the direction of a licensed practical nurse and registered professional nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant supports holistic care to a medically-fragile community of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

Daily Tasks

• Feeding, dressing and bathing patients
• Responding with prompt courtesy to requests of patients and their families, and to other members of the healthcare team
• Housekeeping duties, including linens and waste disposal and general upkeep of patient rooms
• Ensuring patients are cared for in a timely manner in respect to individual schedules

Position Requirements

• Current New Jersey CNA licensure
• Current/Active CPR Certification (only AHA or ARC accepted; certification must include cognitive and skills training)
• One year Long-Term Care experience, preferred
