Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Night Shift NICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK to join our team on a full-time basis. You will assess, plan, implement, and document care for NICU patients, ensuring high-quality and age-appropriate care under HHS standards. You must hold an Oklahoma RN license and BLS, with NICU experience preferred.

Required completion of an approved RN program and active license. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and adherence to state nursing

Qualifications

• Completion of a state approved Registered Nurse Program.
• Valid State of Oklahoma RN License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to direct patient care.
• Preferred: At least 1 year NICU experience in level 3 NICU.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care per standards to ensure quality.
• Provide age-appropriate care across the life span.
• Assess patient data, identify needs and develop an individualized plan of care.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and regulations.

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age‑specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications
