Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, part-time Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care to ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality patient care, with age-appropriate responsibilities and adherence to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act and unit policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state approved Registered Nurse program.
• Current Oklahoma State RN license.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care to deliver quality patient care.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care across the patient life span.
• Assess data to identify patient needs and plan care accordingly.
• Develop and implement the care plan in line with policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.


• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.


• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.


• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.


• Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forward by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Completion of a state approved Registered Nurse Program


• Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License


• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care


• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certified


• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certified
