Job summary

Ardent Health Services is hiring a Night shift, full-time Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. You will assess and implement nursing care for ICU patients, documenting progress and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

The role requires an ADN, an OK or multi-state RN license, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. You will work with the Hillcrest Medical Center team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• ADN degree required.
• Current OK RN license or multistate license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care per HHS standards to deliver quality patient care.
• Care for patients across age groups with age-appropriate needs.
• Develop and modify the plan of care to meet patient needs following unit policies.
• Adhere to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act and related regulations.

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current valid OK or Multistate RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
