CoxHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in partnership with Select Medical invites applications for a Registered Nurse (RN) – New Graduate in Ozark, Missouri. The role supports a busy inpatient rehabilitation setting with a structured orientation, sign-on incentive, and opportunities for education and career progression.

You will collaborate with physicians, preceptors, and an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and discharge planning, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS required at hire.
• Flexibility of scheduling to complete the program.

Responsibilities

• Implement the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
• Initiate ongoing systematic assessment of physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of patients/families.
• Interpret assessment data to develop a nursing care plan with goals, orders, interventions and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in rehab goals and ensure accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the physician and your preceptor, you will ensure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.

• Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.
• Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.
• Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS required at hire
• Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program.
