Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Burn Unit (10NT Burns and Plastics). The RN will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care for burn patients and related surgical cases, delivering safe, evidence-based care across the continuum.
Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and ACLS within 6 months of hire, with 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred.

10NT Burns and Plastics is a 24 bed multi-leveled unit. The unit is commonly called the Burn Center as it is an all-inclusive comprehensive unit for all levels of burn patients including pediatrics and adults. The unit is divided into 16 Med-surg level beds and 8 ICU level beds. In addition to burn patients, the unit sees a variety of other surgical patients such as Plastic Surgery, Orthopedics, Trauma, and Urology. Being 1 of 2 Burn Centers in the state of North Carolina, the Burn Center is recognized by the American Burn Association (ABA), as a verified burn center, meaning we offer state of art care, training, and have the resources to treat all levels of burns. In the Burn Center, you will learn different types of wound care, including dressing, skin grafting and maintenance, negative pressure wound vac applications, and other wound care processes.
