Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Rockwall, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse III for the Mother/Baby unit on a PRN days schedule. The role requires a Nursing Diploma or higher and at least 1 year of RN experience, with Mother-Baby/Postpartum experience strongly preferred.

The nurse will provide care at Texas Health Rockwall (3150 Horizon Rd) on a PRN basis, with 7am–7pm shifts and required trainings before independent patient care. Training at Arlington campus may be required.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or higher required.
• 1 year RN experience required.
• Mother-Baby/Postpartum experience strongly preferred.
• Texas RN license required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required prior to independent patient care.
• NRP certification within 90 days of hire.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire and annually.

Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032

Work hours: PRN \"as needed\" – variable Days 7am-7pm, Required: a minimum of (6) 12-hour shifts per six-week period, (2) weekend shifts per six-week period, (1) major holiday and (2) minor holidays per year.

Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington from 8am-5pm for the first 1-5 days of hire.

Here's What You Need

• Nursing Diploma required or
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required or
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year experience as registered nurse required
• 1 year of Mother-Baby/Postpartum experience strongly preferred
• Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
• NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire and
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
