Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby unit to provide and coordinate patient care across the nursing process, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes.

You will apply evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to maintain an optimal patient environment and exceptional experience during labour, delivery and postpartum care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• NRP certification.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.

Our Family Birthing Center has 10 Labor Beds/ 5 Antepartum/ 10 Triage/ 2OB ORs. 24 Mother Baby beds and 16 Intermediate Care Nursery Beds. 150-175 deliveries per month.
