Job summary

Lifepoint Health at Wilson Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking an experienced LPN for the 3x12 night shift (7p–7a) with rotating weekends/holidays in a 22-bed Progressive Care Unit with telemetry. This is an in-person position supporting high-quality patient care.

Applicants must hold an active LPN license, have a nursing degree from an accredited school, and complete BLS within 30 days. One year of experience is preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

More About Our Team

Join our 22-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6. We are staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Monitor Techs providing care for patients for a mix of patients including Med/Surge. Our unit has 24/7 CNA coverage who work closely with the RNs as well as 24/7 cardiac monitoring. This role offers the opportunity to work in a face-paced environment with rapid patient turnover while delivering high-quality patient care in a strong team environment.

How You'll Contribute

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we're looking for- a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.

Applicants should have a current state LPN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
