ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the 3B General Medical Unit in Newark, DE. This part-time role (24 hrs/week) offers 12-hour night shifts or three 8-hour shifts, with weekends/holidays per department guidelines.

The 32-bed unit provides telemetry and a range of diagnoses with 24-hour coverage. Qualified candidates will hold a Delaware RN license or compact license, and BSN or plan to obtain BSN within three years.

Registered Nurse (RN) – 3B General Medical Unit Part Time (24 hrs./weekly (12 hour shifts (7p to 7a), or 3 8-hour shifts (11p to 7a) Weekends and holidays are per department guidelines.

Newark, DE Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our 3B General Medical Unit. Unit 3B is a 32-bed inpatient General Medical Unit with Telemetry, which provides scheduled and emergent care/procedures on a 24-hour basis. The unit is designed to accommodate 32 patients who need inpatient care to treat their diagnosis. The patient population cared for in this area includes adult and geriatric patients. The conditions of patients cared for in this area can be described as fair and serious. The patients are received/transferred/admitted from home, the emergency department, physician’s offices, and other units within the hospital setting. The scope of services on 3B encompasses a variety of diagnoses/testing including but not limited to:

• COPD exacerbation
• Pneumonia
• ETOH withdrawal
• Opioid withdrawal
• Nausea/vomiting/abdominal pain
• Altered mental status
• Osteomyelitis
• Back pain
• Diabetes management
• Cellulitis

Education & Experience Requirements:

Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License.

BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date.

RN must have at least one year experience in acute care or sub-acute care.

BLS required.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
