Job summary

Texas Health Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical Surgical Telemetry on the night shift. This full-time role offers 36 hours weekly with 3-12 hour shifts (7pm–7am) in a 29-bed telemtry unit, emphasizing patient care and safety.

Requirements include an RN license (TX or compact), BCLS, ACLS within 90 days, CPI within 60 days, and 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience or RN residency. Apply to join a supportive team.

• ACLS -within 90 days required
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 60 days of hire
• 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• One (1) year of RN experience in Med/surg Tele strongly preferred

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Telemetry) Full Time Nights

Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 W. Parker Plano, TX 75093

Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, Days 7pm – 7am

Medical Surgical department highlights:

Med/surg Telemetry (29 Beds)- Medical Surgical patients and patients on Cardiac Telemetry. We take a wide variety of patients which includes telemetry, post cath management, some cardiac drips etc. Ratio is 1:5 but occasionally goes up to 6 on night shift. This unit has high patient satisfaction and employee engagement scores.

Here’s What You Need:

• Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
• BCLS – upon hire – expiration date greater than 3 months preferred
