Job summary

Texas Health Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Neuro Telemetry for a full-time night shift. You will deliver patient care using the nursing process, assess needs, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes in a fast-paced 25-bed unit.

Requirements include an ADN or diploma, BSN preferred, 1 year of clinical nursing experience or completion of an RN residency, BCLS, ACLS, CPI training within 60 days, and licensure per Texas Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Diploma Nurse Program
• BSN preferred
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program
• BCLS–Basic Cardiac Life Support, ACLS–Advanced Cardiac Life Support, CPI–Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days Req
• RN must practice within the Texas Nurse Practice Act and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team

Work hours: Full-time |36 Hours / Week | Nights shift | 7pm – 7am

Neuro Telemetry Department Highlights

• Nurses improve quality of care for neuro tele patients such as scoliosis, post neuro surgeries, and stroke with multiple comorbidities.

Here’s What You Need

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program
