Texas Health Plano is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. This full-time night shift position involves 36 hours per week across 3-12 hour shifts, from 7pm to 7am, at 6200 W. Parker, Plano, TX 75093.

The Med/Surg Telemetry unit handles a variety of patients, including telemetry and post-catheter care, with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio (rising to 6 on some nights). Join a team focused on patient satisfaction and engagement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry preferred.
• Night shift availability and full-time hours required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct bedside nursing care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry, interpret alarms, and respond promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate patient care.

Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, Days 7pm - 7am

Medical Surgical department highlights: Med/surg Telemetry (29 Beds)- Medical Surgical patients and patients on Cardiac Telemetry. We take a wide variety of patients which includes telemetry, post cath management, some cardiac drips etc. Ratio is 1:5 but occasionally goes up to 6 on night shift. This unit has high patient satisfaction and employee engagement scores.
