Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med surg General Surgery 3W unit at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. The role supports patient care through the nursing process, ensuring confidentiality and coordination with departments during day-to-day operations.

Full-time position, 36 hours/week, shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. New graduates may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus. More experienced RNs may have a different sign-on option. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifikationen

• Graduates of an accredited nursing program with one of the listed credentials.
• RN license in Missouri or compact licensure required.
• Hospital experience preferred depending on unit.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Med surg General Surgery 3W

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full-time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Days 7:00pm - 7:00am

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience:Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
