Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg General Surgery 3W at Mercy Hospital South in Missouri. The role uses the nursing process to deliver patient care and collaborates with departments to coordinate care while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. New grads may qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with higher offers for experienced RNs.

Location: Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis area. Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours/week, Day/Night rotation as described.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience requirements: Previous hospital experience preferred and may be required depending on unit.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Med surg General Surgery 3W

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full-time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Days 7:00pm - 7:00am

• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Graduate RNs
• $20,0 $0 Sign-On Bonus for RNs with 1+ Years of Experience

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience:Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
