Johnson Memorial Health in Franklin, Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse to apply clinical expertise across patient populations. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating with the health care team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

The role requires Indiana RN licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and PALS for pediatric care. BSN is preferred, with a 24-month employment commitment for bonus eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document timely interventions; respond to emergencies.
• Coordinate team assignments and delegate tasks; ensure quality and completeness.
• Support orientation of new staff and maintain a safe environment.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and abide by policies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Obtains and records initial assessment and establishes priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.Reassesses patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention. Implements and documents timely interventions appropriate to patient needs and recognizes and responds to emergencies.Makes comprehensive nursing decisions based on the interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcome.Participates in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning.Coordinates team assignments and makes adjustments based upon patient and unit needs; follows up on delegated patient care tasks for quality and completeness. Utilizes appropriate chain of command for resolution of difficult issues.Participates in orientation of new staff.Maintains a neat, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.Participates in the unit’s continuous quality improvement plan to improve organizational performance.Functions as a resource to visitors, physicians, and staff; greeting them promptly and courteously.Performs other related duties as assigned.Clearly communicates and continuously supports the Mission and Values of Johnson Memorial Health.Conducts all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and Johnson Memorial Health policies and procedures including Blood and Body Substance Precautions.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
