Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care using the nursing process and coordinate with other departments. Full-time, 36 hours per week, shifts are 7:00 pm–7:00 am.

Candidates must hold Missouri RN licensure (or compact licensure). Education options include ADN, Nursing Diploma or BSN; BLS required. Sign-on bonuses: $10,000 for new grads, $20,000+ for 1+ year experience.

Schedule:Full-time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Days 7:00pm - 7:00am

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience:Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
