Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care using the nursing process. You will coordinate patient care with other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and maintain accountability for care delivered to assigned patients.

Required are an RN license in Missouri (or compact), BLS certification, and prior hospital experience preferred. A $10,000 sign-on for new grads and $20,000 for 1+ year RNs are available as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: ADN, Diploma, or BSN.
• Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:Full-time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Days 7:00pm - 7:00am

• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Graduate RNs
• $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for RNs with 1+ Years of Experience

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience:Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
