Job summary

Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in Salem is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our PRN field staffing. You will provide in-home nursing visits, assessments, and education to clients in the Willamette Valley.

Flexible PRN scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and supportive clinical leadership are offered, with pay based on licensure and experience. This role provides opportunities to grow while delivering quality, one-on-one care.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Oregon RN or LPN license.
• Home health, hospice, long-term care, assisted living, or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home nursing visits and client assessments (RN responsibilities based on licensure)
• Monitor client health status and report changes in condition
• Provide skilled nursing services within scope of practice
• Assist with medication management and client education
• Collaborate with caregivers, families, physicians, and the clinical team
• Support development and implementation of individualized care plans
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
