Beatrice Community Hospital in Beatrice, Nebraska is hiring a CLS/Medical Laboratory Technician for the BCH Laboratory. You will perform laboratory services including phlebotomy, testing, quality control, instrument maintenance, and R&D for new tests, with weekend/evening/holiday rotation.

Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor degree in Clinical Laboratory Science and successful CLS/MT boards (ASCP or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (MLT/MLS) and boards passed or eligible.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs laboratory services including phlebotomy, testing, specimen storage and retrieval, quality control/assurance, proficiency testing, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of new tests.
• Participates in weekend, evening and holiday rotation.

CLS or Medical Laboratory Technician—BCH Laboratory

Job Duties:

Performs all laboratory services with specific accountabilities in the following functions: phlebotomy, testing, specimen and result storage and retrieval, quality control, quality assurance, proficiency testing, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and research and development of new instruments and tests. Participates in weekend, evening and holiday rotation.

Qualifications:

Associates of Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science - Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science - Medical Technology or equivalent and has successfully completed and passed the Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) Boards. ASCP (or equivalent) or eligible. 1 year experience preferred.

Shift Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Thursday, 8:00pm-6:00am
