Beatrice Community Hospital’s BCH Laboratory in Beatrice, Nebraska is hiring a CLS/MT to perform comprehensive laboratory services including phlebotomy, testing, QA, instrument maintenance, and R&D of new tests.

The role includes weekend, evening and holiday rotation with full-time hours from 8:00pm to 6:00am, and a benefits package including health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Requires ASCP (or equivalent) eligibility or board certification.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Completes and passes CLS/MT boards or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory services including phlebotomy, testing, specimen storage/retrieval, QC/QA, proficiency testing.
• Maintains and troubleshoots instruments; researches new instruments/tests.
• Participates in weekend, evening, and holiday rotation.

Job Duties:

Performs all laboratory services with specific accountabilities in the following functions: phlebotomy, testing, specimen and result storage and retrieval, quality control, quality assurance, proficiency testing, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and research and development of new instruments and tests. Participates in weekend, evening and holiday rotation.

Qualifications:

Associates of Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science - Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science - Medical Technology or equivalent and has successfully completed and passed the Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) Boards. ASCP (or equivalent) or eligible. 1 year experience preferred.

Shift Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Thursday, 8:00pm-6:00am
