Job summary

ChristianaCare is actively seeking a Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery department at our Newark campus to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for mothers and newborns. This role includes 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule and requires weekend and holiday coverage, with on-call rotation as needed.

The RN will participate in training across Labor & Delivery, High Risk OB, OB Peri-Op, and Antenatal services, with opportunities to expand into OBGYN Emergency after establishing in

Qualifications

• BSN degree or enrollment in BSN within 3 years
• Delaware RN license or eligibility
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients.
• Train in Labor & Delivery, High Risk OB, OB Peri-Op, and Antenatal.
• Collaborate with Women’s & Children’s teams and maintain safe delivery of care.
• Adhere to weekend/holiday on-call schedule.

ChristianaCare is seeking a RN for our Labor & Delivery departments at our Women's & Children's Building on our Newark Campus. You will have the opportunity to train in the following areas for this position: Labor & Delivery, High Risk OB, OB Peri-Op, and Antenatal. Also, once established in L&D you would have the opportunity to train in our OBGYN Emergency.

We support over 6,500 births annually and we aim to serve our community as partners in their care with love and excellence.As an RN at ChristianaCare, you will practice with a standard of nursing excellence by providing optimal outcomes for safe delivery of care for our Labor and Delivery patients and families.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
• Experience in women's & children's services preferred
• Two years of Acute Care experience strongly preferred
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
• BLS required.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
