RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in New Brunswick, NJ. The role includes night shifts, 36 hours per week, and requires active NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP preferred, and 1 year RN experience (3–5 years in L&D preferred). BSN strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• ACLS certification required; NRP preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year RN experience required; 3–5 years in High-risk Labor & Delivery preferred.
• ASN degree required; BSN strongly preferred.

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insight that supports timely, well-coordinated care decisions

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. An Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification and NRP Certification are required. At least 1 year of RN experience is required, while 3-5 years of current High-risk Labor and Delivery RN experience is preferred. An Associate’s degree in Nursing is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position is Night Shift, 36 hours per week, 7pm-7:30am.
