Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for Saint Francis Hospital. This role covers antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care, delivering nursing services per established standards of practice.

The position offers full-time night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays with excellent benefits starting Day One. Pay ranges from $36.15 to $59.95 per hour, dependent on RN experience and location; unit-based specialty pay is available for experienced nurses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required or BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Connecticut.
• BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to obstetric patients during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum phases.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain standards of practice and patient-centered care in Labor & Delivery.

Pay Range

Hourly Staff RN position; pay range: $36.15 – $59.95/hour. Pay is based on working RN experience only. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Unit Based Specialty Pay

Unit Based Specialty pay available for experienced nurses with one or more years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering care for the obstetric patients while providing nursing care according to established standards of practice. This coordination of care occurs during the antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum phase for both mother and infant.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN graduate preferred.

Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC). Preferred Experience: Acute Care, Maternity or Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred.
