Trinity Health Saint Francis Hospital in Massachusetts is seeking a Float Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, flexible nursing care across multiple units. The role supports continuity of patient care and adapts to varying clinical needs while upholding evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities include patient care delivery, effective communication with patients and teams, patient and caregiver education, and managing admissions and rounds.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut.
• Experience: 1+ year inpatient hospital RN experience; BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required for certain departments.

The Float Registered Nurse RN provides high-quality, flexible nursing care across various units within the hospital. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and continuity of patient care, ensuring that patient needs are met efficiently and effectively.

What You Will Do

• Deliver patient care based on nursing theory, research, and evidence-based practices.
• Adapt to different units and medical-surgical procedures as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and caregivers about care plans, health promotion, and disease prevention.
• Manage emergent patient needs, admissions, and hospital rounds.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut.
• Experience: 1 or more years of Inpatient Hospital RN experience BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP) may be required for certain departments.
