Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN to join our team in Marquette, Michigan. This full-time role follows an 8 x 8‑hour Evening shift schedule and offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

As part of Lifepoint Health, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and support patient learning and recovery in a fast-paced environment. An active Michigan RN license and ADN are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Michigan RN license.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; bachelor’s preferred.
• BLS-HCP required; ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration and specimen collection.
• Documents care provided in a timely, accurate manner.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team and families.
• Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene, nutrition, ambulation).
• Floats across departments to support staff as needed.
• Collaborates to coordinate care, including transfers and discharges.
• Provides age- and culture-appropriate patient/family education.
• Advocates for patients' physical and emotional well‑being.
• Participates in performance improvement and required education; may take on‑call duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Our Interventional Radiology team delivers high‑quality, minimally invasive care in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Nurses partner closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to advanced technology while building strong procedural and critical‑thinking skills.

How You'll Contribute

• Performs plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and related medical care.
• Documents care provided in a timely, accurate manner.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Displays initiative and flexibility to float throughout the building to support departments and staff.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, psychosocial/spiritual support).
• Assess learning needs; provides age‑and culture‑appropriate patient/family education.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and required education; works other shifts/units as needed and may take on‑call assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).

Additional Requirements Include

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
