Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette is seeking an Infusion RN to join our Oncology team. This full-time role focuses on chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration, patient education, and comprehensive assessments in a collaborative care setting.

We offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants, with 8 x 8-hour day shifts and opportunities to float to support departments. Michigan RN license and oncology chemotherapy experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP).
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)/Chemo within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and related medical care.
• Documents care provided in a timely, accurate manner.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Displays initiative to float throughout the building to support departments and staff.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, psychosocial/spiritual support).
• Assessments learning needs; provides age- and culture-appropriate patient/family education.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and required education; may take on-call assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Join a compassionate Oncology team where nursing is more than a job-it’s a meaningful partnership with patients throughout their cancer journey. You’ll provide specialized care through chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration, patient education, telephone triage, and comprehensive assessments while collaborating closely with providers, navigators, case managers, social workers, radiation oncology, and palliative care teams. What We’re Looking For

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
