Texas Health Resources in Arlington, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse, RN II for Cardiac Telemetry at Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital. This full-time night shift (7:00pm to 7:15am) offers a 36-hour week including weekends and holidays, with work location at 811 Wright St.

You will deliver patient care using the nursing process, assess, plan, intervene, evaluate, and maintain continuity across shifts and transfers to support a high-quality cardiac program.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma is required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing on hire is required.
• One year of RN experience is required.
• BCLS is required on hire with expiration >3 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control into patient care.

Work location: Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital, 811 Wright St, Arlington, TX 76012

Work hours: Full-time, Nights; 7:00pm shift; 1845-0715 with 36 hours per week including weekends and holidays.

Here’s What You Need:

• Nursing Diploma Nursing is required.
• Associate's Degree Nursing required
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire is required.
• One (1) year as a RN is required.
• BCLS is required upon hire with an expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.

What You Will Do:

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

• Assesses the patient
• Plans the care of the patient
• Intervenes as appropriate
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
