Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Full-Time Nights – ICU Unit for Texas Health Alliance

Work location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail Fort Worth, TX 76244

Work hours: Full-time, Night Shift, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 6:45 pm – 7:15 am

ICU Department highlights:

  4. We offer 24/7 Intensivist/Advanced Nurse Practitioner coverage which provides exceptional pulmonary critical care patient oversight.

Here’s What You Need:

  1. Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required.
  3. Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.
  4. BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
  5. ACLS – within 90 days required.
  6. NIHSS – within 60 days of hire.
  7. CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire.
  8. 1 Year of experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
  9. At least 2-3 years of current ICU experience strongly preferred.

What You Will Do:

  1. Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
  2. Assesses the patient.
  3. Plans the care of the patient.
  4. Intervenes as appropriate.
  5. Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
  6. Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  7. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information.
  8. Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
