Job summary

Essentia Health Detroit Lakes is hiring an ICU - RN for 32 hours per week with a day/night rotation and every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will deliver high-quality care in the ICU, coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, and support the hospital's Pathway to Excellence designation.

The role requires a BSN or ADN, current RN licensure in the relevant state(s), and certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timelines.

Qualifications

Education Qualifications:

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Licensure/CertificationQualifications:

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year
