Job summary

Essentia Health St. Marys Hospital in Detroit Lakes is seeking an RN for Emergency Services. You will organize and provide nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, and delegate tasks to licensed staff as appropriate.

The role requires a BSN or ADN, active RN licensure, and BCLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC within defined timelines. 0.75 FTE with Day/Eve/Night rotations; competitive benefits and pathway incentives.

Job Description:

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Responds to emergency calls, assists ambulance team in performance of medical services and safe transportation of patients to medical facilities.

Education Qualifications:

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing

RN Hiring Incentive Eligible Position:Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $7500 (ADN) and up to $10,000 (BSN)

Licensure/CertificationQualifications:

• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year
• Pediatric Advanced Life support (PALS) certification within 1 year
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 2 years
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 2 years
