Job summary

Lynchburg-based Centra Behavioral Health Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an experienced RN House Supervisor to lead nursing teams and oversee patient care during day shifts. The role combines clinical leadership with operational oversight in a brand-new behavioral health facility opening in 2026.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, coaching staff, ensuring safe care coverage, and promoting quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across the shift.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active RN license required per state regulations.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience.
• At least one year in inpatient behavioral health nursing.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire and before patient contact.
• De-escalation certification within 30 days of hire and before orientation completion.
