Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Float team at 5000 Memorial Drive, Two Rivers, WI 54241. This role lets you float across Med/Surg, Stepdown, Same Day Surgery and assist in the Emergency Department, applying your skills where they are needed most.

You will deliver and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, uphold safety standards, and engage in evidence-based practice while collaborating with a unified team to improve the patient experience

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS required by American Heart Association.

• Variety: Float between Med/Surg, Stepdown, Same Day Surgery, and assist in the Emergency Department supporting boarder patients.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Required to obtain ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association
• Inpatient RN experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
