Aurora Health Care Southern Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Float for our Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin location.

The RN will coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care across Med/Surg units, applying evidence-based practice and strong communication to ensure safety and quality outcomes. Responsibilities include leading nursing care plans, advocating for patients, and collaborating with the care team to maintain optimal staffing and patient experience.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Where You Will Work

Med/Surge Garden is a 24-bed medical/surgical unit with mixed acuity, specializing in the care of stroke and oncology patients and Med Surg I is a 24-bed acute care unit specializes in medical-surgical, orthopedic, surgical, and trauma care, serving primarily surgical and orthopedic patients. Nurse-to-patient ratios for both Med Surg units are typically 5:1, and nursing assistant ratios are 6-7:1. Our Med Surg units thrive on teamwork, accountability, and a drive for continuous improvement.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
