Aurora Health Care North, Inc. in Two Rivers, WI is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for an Inpatient Hospital Float role. You will float between Med/Surg, Stepdown, Same Day Surgery, and assist in the Emergency Department, delivering safe, high-quality care across departments.

You'll use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to coordinate patient care and ensure the best patient experience, while pursuing ongoing skill growth in multiple specialties.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).
• ACLS and PALS required by American Heart Association.
• Inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and compassionate communication to ensure the safest patient environment and best experience.

Inpatient Float allows you to experience the best of every department and utilize your skills where they are needed most. This unique role offers:

• Variety: Float between Med/Surg, Stepdown, Same Day Surgery, and assist in the Emergency Department supporting boarder patients.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Required to obtain ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association

• Inpatient RN experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
