Job summary

Aurora Health Care in Two Rivers, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an inpatient float role across Med/Surg, Stepdown, Same Day Surgery, and ED support. You'll rotate through departments to apply your skills where they're needed most, with a float premium after orientation.

You will coordinate care using the nursing process, apply evidence-based practice, and strive to deliver safe, compassionate patient experiences while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

  • Completion of accredited nursing program is required.
  • RN license issued by the state where you practice.
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications by the American Heart Association are required.
  • Inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
  • Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.

We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Required to obtain ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association
  • Inpatient RN experience preferred
What You’ll Do
  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
