Aurora Health Care Southern Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Float pool at Mt. Pleasant, WI. This role supports Med/Surge units with flexible scheduling and patient care across multiple floors.

You will provide nursing assessments, administer treatments, coordinate care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for stroke, oncology, and general medical-surgical patients.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• RN license issued by the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification

Where You Will Work:

Med/Surge Garden is a 24-bed medical/surgical unit with mixed acuity, specializing in the care of stroke and oncology patients and Med Surg I is a 24-bed acute care unit specializes in medical-surgical, orthopedic, surgical, and trauma care, serving primarily surgical and orthopedic patients. Nurse-to-patient ratios for both Med Surg units are typically 5:1, and nursing assistant ratios are 6-7:1. Our Med Surg units thrive on teamwork, accountability, and a drive for continuous improvement.

We're Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You'll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
