Job summary

UPMC Home Health is hiring full-time Registered Nurses to deliver skilled care in patients' homes across the Shadyside, Uptown, Squirrel Hill, East Liberty, Point Breeze and nearby areas.

Shifts are Monday through Friday daylight with on-call rotations and weekend coverage. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team to develop plans of care, educate patients and families, and ensure documentation is completed accurately using a provided laptop.

Qualifications

• RN license active in PA or eligible via compact state
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• CPR certification per AHA standards within 30 days of hire
• Current driver's license, auto insurance, and clearances

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care in patients' homes across Pittsburgh-area communities
• Develop and manage plans of care with physicians and interdisciplinary team
• Provide patient/family education to promote independence and recovery
• Complete required documentation (OASIS, visit notes, orders) electronically using a provided laptop
• Maintain regulatory standards while contributing to high-quality outcomes

Qualifications/Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Active RN license (Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility)
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and required clearances
• Final title and compensation are based on experience, education, and career ladder placement.
• CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
