Job summary

UPMC Home Health is hiring full-time Registered Nurses to support patients in Farrell, West Middlesex, Pulaski, Edinburg and surrounding areas. Shifts are daylight, Monday–Friday with on-call and weekend rotations, offering autonomy and meaningful patient relationships in home settings.

You’ll deliver skilled nursing, manage care plans with physicians, educate families, and complete electronic documentation on a provided laptop.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active RN license (Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility).
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and required clearances.
• CPR required based on AHA standards with both didactic and skills demonstration within 30 days of hire.
• Hires with multistate licensure and residency considerations per NLC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes across assigned Pittsburgh-area communities.
• Develop and manage plans of care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary partners.
• Provide patient and family education to promote independence and recovery.
• Complete required documentation (OASIS, visit notes, orders) electronically with a provided laptop.
• Contribute to high-quality, patient-centered outcomes while meeting regulatory standards.
