Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Hemodialysis Unit in Newark, DE. The role involves 12-hour shifts (FT Day), with every other Saturday and 1–2 on-call shifts per month.

The RN will assess patient needs, deliver hemodialysis care, and respond to call responsibilities by arriving at the hospital within one hour. The unit focuses on adult patients with kidney-related diseases and requires BLS and DE licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
• BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date.
• One year of experience as an RN in Hemodialysis.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

ChristianaCare Hospital's Hemodialysis Unit in Newark, DE, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a commitment of 3 to 12-hour shifts per week.

**Call Responsibility:** Be at the hospital, set up, and ready to deliver treatment within one hour.

The Unit

The Hemodialysis Unit comprises 16 beds and focuses on providing care to patients of all ages with acute or chronic kidney-related diseases. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing each patient's needs and delivering appropriate care to address those needs.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
