Job summary

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on the unit under the guidance of the leadership team. The role includes planning, coordinating, and performing interdisciplinary care, discharge planning, and patient/family education for post-hospitalization needs.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license in the state or a compact license, current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days (ACLS must be AHA approved).

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure where applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care for patients.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and community resources.
• Note: Charge Nurse ACLS certification is required for some roles.
