Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our GI, Colorectal Surgical Floor team. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care for post-operative GI colorectal patients, emphasizing safety and excellent patient experience.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license in the state, and possess BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Where You Will Work:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team on the GI, Colorectal Surgical Floor. Our unit specializes in providing exceptional post-operative care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal (GI) colorectal surgeries. The patients have a variety of medical diagnoses such as Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, gallstones, irritable bowel syndrome, and general post-surgery with a focus on abdominal. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and be part of a collaborative and supportive team. Expectations We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
