Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our GI Colorectal Surgical Floor. Our unit provides postoperative care for GI colorectal surgeries, including Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, gallstones, and IBS, with focus on abdominal recovery.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, at least 6 months of RN experience, a valid RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not for new grads.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
