Registered Nurse (RN) - Up to $45.50/hr

Summary of Position:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN is responsible for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Nursing care includes assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the care plan. The RN ensures standards of care are met, manages the environment to ensure safety, and supervises nursing assistants and helpers. Adheres to North Shore policies and procedures, follows all applicable laws including the State Nurse Practice Act, and JCAHO standards where applicable.

Requirements of the Position:
  • Licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
  • Ability to calculate drug dosages
  • Meet all health requirements mandated by law
  • Effective communication and positive interaction with residents, families, staff, and community members
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Basic computer skills with an aptitude to learn company applications
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous post-acute care experience preferred
