Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN is responsible for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Care is provided through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN ensures standards of care, maintains a safe environment, supervises nursing assistants, and complies with all policies and procedures, including those of the State Nurse Practice Act and JCAHO standards where applicable.

Requirements:

• Licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet all health requirements mandated by law
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, and community members
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn company applications
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Post-acute care experience preferred
