Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Battle Creek is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time days or nights. The hours are 7:00 am - 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:30 am with a sign-on bonus of $15,000 and pay up to $53.37 per hour based on experience.

This critical illness recovery unit focuses on post-ICU care. We provide extensive RN orientation, a 100% company-paid BSN scholarship, tuition reimbursement, clinical ladder, debt relief programs, comprehensive insurance, generous PTO, and a 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.
• Clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Critical Illness Recovery Hospital

Location: Battle Creek, Michigan (6th floor of Bronson Battle Creek Hospital)

Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time Dayshift or Night Shift Available

Hours: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm- 7:30 am

$15,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Pay: Up to $53.37 per hour, based on experience

($3.50 shift differentials for nights and $3.50 for weekends)
