Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fargo is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver and supervise patient care on the inpatient unit using the nursing process. You will coordinate discharge planning, interdisciplinary care, and patient/family teaching for post-hospital needs.

Required: RN licensure in the state or a compact license, current BLS, ACLS within 90 days; ACLS required for Charge Nurses. One year of inpatient med-surgical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise patient care using the nursing process.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training:

Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience:

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
