Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fargo is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide nursing care under an RN on an inpatient unit. You will gather data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures for patients in an age-appropriate manner.

Requirements include current LPN/LVN licensure in the state, BLS certification (AHA approved within 90 days), and IV certification where required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under RN direction.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Deliver age-appropriate care in accordance with PAM Health policies.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Training:

Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
