PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Aiken is opening a brand-new rehabilitation hospital this fall and seeks a Registered Nurse to join our team from the start. You will deliver, direct, and supervise nursing care, participating in interdisciplinary planning and family education.

Under leadership of senior nursing leaders, you will coordinate discharge planning and resource access while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where PAM Health Aiken operates.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment; ACLS is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsabilités

• Provide, direct, and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
